Crop a photo without uploading it anywhere.

Every listing and profile wants a different shape, and most croppers want your file on their server first. This one runs in the tab: drag a box, lock a ratio if you need one, download the result at the source resolution.

The photo is opened and cropped inside this tab. It is never uploaded - you can disconnect from the internet and this still works.

Which ratio do you actually need?

1:1 is the safe default for marketplace listings and Instagram's feed. 4:5 is the tallest Instagram allows and takes up the most screen. 3:4 suits clothing and anything vertical. 16:9 is for covers and hero images, 9:16 for stories and reels.

Cropping only ever removes pixels - it cannot add them. If a tight crop drops you under a marketplace's minimum, reshoot closer instead of cropping harder, and use the marketplace image resizer to check the result against a platform's published limits. The exact numbers per platform are in the marketplace guides.

Cropping fixes the frame. Phoxel fixes the photo.

A tighter crop of a badly lit photo is still a badly lit photo. Upload a few phone shots and get studio-grade ones back - from $6.
