Know which shots you need before you start.
Most listings die on missing angles rather than bad ones. Pick a category and how many slots you have, and this gives you the list in priority order — the must-haves first, the nice-to-haves after.
Runs entirely in your browser — the image never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to us.
How many slots you actually get
- Etsy — up to 20 photos and 2 videos per listing. Details →
- Amazon — one compliant main image required, at least six more recommended, no published maximum. Details →
- Airbnb — at least 5 to publish, and one of every room so the photo tour is complete. Details →
- Shopify — your store, your call; three to six per product covers what a shopper would ask. Details →
Why the order matters
The list is ordered by what buyers check first, not by what’s easiest to shoot. The first image carries the click; the next two answer “is this the right thing”; the rest handle scale, condition and context — the questions that otherwise arrive as messages or returns.
If you’re shooting references for Phoxel rather than final photos, you need far fewer: two or three sharp, plainly lit angles per subject is enough to generate the whole list.

Shot list done. Lighting still a problem?
Shoot the references plainly and let Phoxel handle the studio part — every shot on your list, same lighting, from $6.
